Knight described how being in Africa helped him pop the question considering that their parents were there and making it official felt natural.

The two recently set a date for the wedding. The couple had planned to tie the knot this 2018 after being together since 2008. The couple was part of the 26th season of The Amazing Race where they placed ninth in the competition series. It is confirmed that they have been married since 2022.
