Pearl of Qatar
The Pearl-Qatar (English name: The Pearl-Qatar) is a man-made island located about 350 meters north of Doha, the capital of Qatar, covering an area of 4,000,000 square meters, equivalent to an area of more than 600 football fields. The construction of Qatar Pearl began in 2004 and was invested and constructed by Usaidi Company (UCC), an investment and development company in Qatar. As an important tourism, shopping, leisure and residential area in Qatar, Qatar Pearl has many luxury residences, five-star hotels, high-end shopping malls, fashionable restaurants, leisure and entertainment facilities, etc. In particular, the Palm Tree-lined Promenade, a pedestrian bridge on the Pearl of Qatar, is 2.5 kilometers long and is a very popular attraction among tourists. The Pearl of Qatar is also the headquarters of Qatar International Airways.
