Birmingham Central Library
Birmingham Central Library is a public library located in the heart of Birmingham, England, opened in 1974 and is one of the largest libraries in the United Kingdom. The library has a collection of more than one million volumes, including books, periodicals, music, films, and other multimedia resources. It also has several Xi and study areas, free Wi-Fi and computer access. Once controversial for its distinctive circular shape, the building was now replaced by a new library building after its closure in 2013.
