We’re not sure if it was the impending fear of “Y2K” or what, but for some reason, we were obsessed with futuristic space-inspired clothing. Metallic tones, latex, and strange cutouts were all the rage. Artists often wore these outfits in space-themed music videos or even on the red carpet.

That’s why we’re not surprised that rapper Busta Rhymes decided to show off his fashion of the future with this yellow halter-top and pants set. While he must have thought his outfit choice was cutting-edge, we just think it looks uncomfortable.

Though she may have been smiling for the cameras, behind the scenes the singer’s foot injury was so severe that she actually needed to get a bone transplant in her foot. Yikes!
